How did Gold Bets get started?

It was 2018. The online betting market in Bangladesh was still underdeveloped. Most platforms were foreign-run, with English interfaces and complicated payment methods — completely unsuitable for Bangladeshi users. A group of young entrepreneurs in Dhaka saw this problem firsthand, and one question came to mind: Why isn't there a platform built for the people of Bangladesh?

That question sparked the idea that started it all. Gold Bets. It started with a small office, a handful of employees, and one big dream — to build a platform where anyone in Bangladesh, even without a bank account but with a mobile phone in hand, could participate with ease.
